Volleyball Recap: Valor College Prep Takes a Loss

The Valor College Prep Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Green Hill Hawks on Wednesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-6, 25-18.

It was another big night for George Stevens, who had 20 aces and one block for Green Hill. Those 20 aces gave Stevens a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mason Bryan, who had six kills and six aces.

Valor College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Green Hill, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Valor College Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet on the 10th. As for Green Hill, they are taking a road trip to face off against Upperman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
