Baseball Recap: Charleston Falls Short of Effingham in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Charleston can now relate to. They came up short against the Effingham Hearts on Wednesday, falling 9-1. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row.

Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Effingham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-11.

As of now, neither Charleston nor the Hearts have any future games scheduled.
