Keaton Jones Delivers Best Performance of Season
Pendleton Heights was led to victory by Keaton Jones, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jones rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run.
The win snapped Pendleton Heights' losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. Jones and Pendleton Heights will head out on the road to take on Shelbyville on Friday.

Joliba Brogan II and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Joliba Brogan II's big game helped extend Mt. Vernon's winning streak to four on Friday. Brogan II's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.
The victory got Mt. Vernon back to even at 4-4. Brogan II and Mt. Vernon will take on Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cooper Hinton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Greenfield-Central to the win on Friday. Hinton picked up three sacks and made ten total tackles.
Hinton might have his next game, a road matchup with New Castle, circled on his calendar. Hinton picked up a sack, made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended two passes the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
New Palestine pushed their record up to 7-0-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Ranes and New Palestine will be playing at home against Delta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Dallas Freeman Makes It Two for Greenfield-Central
The second Greenfield-Central player making an appearance here is Dallas Freeman, and for good reason. He rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Freeman is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against New Castle on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Freeman saw the Trojans), he rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
