Baseball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Comes Up Short

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Sharyland Rattlers, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Tuesday.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Sharyland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest is set to face off against their familiar foe Rowe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sharyland will take on rival Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
