Basketball Game Preview: Norman North Timberwolves vs. Grant Generals

The Norman North Timberwolves will square off against the Grant Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grant took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Norman North, who comes in off a win.

Norman North is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Yukon 70-50 on Tuesday. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Millers are ranked 196th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 35th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Mustang, falling 55-35.

Norman North is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
