Basketball Recap: Crestwood's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Crestwood entered their tilt with South Winneshiek on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the South Winneshiek Warriors by a score of 51-38. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Warriors are ranked 285th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crestwood is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for South Winneshiek, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Crestwood will head out to take on Charles City at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. South Winneshiek has already played their next contest, a 48-36 defeat against MFL MarMac on the 21st.
