Softball Recap: San Leandro Pirates vs. Hayward Farmers        
        
		
            
 San Leandro can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hayward Farmers  a   16-0 shutout. While fans of San Leandro might be used to big wins, the 16-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
  Marina Sacrey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Sacrey has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Sacrey was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Jade Orta was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.  Vanessa Rojas was another key contributor,  going 1-for-4 with four  RBI and two  runs.
 San Leandro pushed their record up to 10-5 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Hayward, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
 San Leandro will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakland Tech at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. San Leandro's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5  runs per game  this season, so Oakland Tech's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hayward, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Piedmont at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Piedmont is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.6  runs per game  this season.
