Tri-Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Bloom-Carroll on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Scotties' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Alivia Reffitt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Bloom-Carroll, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will head out to challenge River View at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloom-Carroll, they will venture away from home to face off against Amanda-Clearcreek at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
