Smithville barely beat Oak Park the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Northmen on Friday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Smithville's third in a row) raised their record to 14-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Oak Park, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Smithville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Northmen: the pair will be back at it again later today.
