Football Game Preview: Pulaski Blue Devils vs. Westmoreland Bulldogs

The Pulaski Blue Devils will head out to challenge the Westmoreland Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pulaski will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Pulaski earned a 21-14 win over Hannibal.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 12 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jessie Fiumano, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from him.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Westmoreland after they claimed the first score on Saturday, but it was Mexico who ended up claiming the real prize. The Bulldogs were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 55-12. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 6-0 in the first quarter.

Westmoreland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pulaski, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
