Basketball Recap: Westbrook-Walnut Grove Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Westbrook-Walnut Grove hadn't done well against Southwest Minnesota Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers strolled past the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 61-47. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Eagles back in January, they had to take a 54-49 defeat.

Westbrook-Walnut Grove is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points over those games. As for Southwest Minnesota Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.
