Basketball Recap: Fabens Comes Up Short

Fabens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 59-15 loss at the hands of the Riverside Rangers. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1224th, while the Rangers are ranked 261st).

Fabens' defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Riverside, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Riverside beat Fabens by a score of 57-15 on Friday.
