After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clarendon, Lockney was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Memphis Cyclones. With that victory, the Longhorns brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Madison Marmolejo was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up five earned runs off five hits. Marmolejo was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in February.
