Football Recap: Robinson Drops Season-High Score on White Hall

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Robinson). They never let the White Hall Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 72-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Senators in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Robinson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reece Simpson, who threw for 174 yards and three TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes. Another big playmaker for the Senators was Kyrin Grimes, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Robinson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 305 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Robinson, adding 18 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Grimes, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Robinson's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for White Hall, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Robinson will take on Beebe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White Hall, they will challenge Watson Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
