Baseball Recap: Las Lomas Comes Up Short

The Las Lomas Knights didn't have quite enough to beat the Vintage Crushers on Wednesday and fell 7-6.

Jack Foscalina made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison May, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Las Lomas' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8-1. As for Vintage, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Las Lomas will square off against Concord at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Vintage, they will challenge Napa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
