Kearney Catholic is a perfect 10-0 against Holdrege since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Stars will challenge the Dusters at 4:30 p.m. Kearney Catholic will be strutting in after a win while Holdrege will be coming in after a defeat.

Kearney Catholic's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Scottsbluff by a score of 2-0. Kearney Catholic haven't had any issues with Scottsbluff recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Holdrege didn't have quite enough to beat Gering on Saturday and fell 2-1. Holdrege haven't had much luck with Gering recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Kearney Catholic's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Holdrege, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Kearney Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over Holdrege in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
