Basketball Recap: Hanks Comes Up Short

Hanks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Glenn Grizzlies 57-28. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 660th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 20th).

Despite the loss, Hanks still got an impressive performance from Anette Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 12 or more in the last four games she's played.

Hanks' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Glenn, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Hanks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-37 loss against Bel Air on the 10th. As for Glenn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 53-45 win against Westlake on the 7th.
