Baseball Recap: North Arlington Comes Up Short

North Arlington blew Leonia out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Leonia got their revenge. The Vikings fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-3.

North Arlington has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Leonia, their victory bumped their record up to 3-12.

Looking ahead, North Arlington will head out to take on Wood-Ridge at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Leonia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dumont at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
