Sutter dropped their record down to 25-4 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's 12-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Destiny Christian Academy Lions by a score of 5-4. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 10-2.

Ezra Hilleary made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Holly, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

As for Destiny Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since March 28th.

On Destiny Christian Academy's side, Hyeongho Park made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing eight innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Park was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since April 4th.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kolton Pedler, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Destiny Christian Academy: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 10-11-1 otherwise. Brayden Sodestrom was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one RBI.

While Sutter had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
