Basketball Recap: North Cobb Takes a Loss

North Cobb lost against Cherokee back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Cobb Warriors fell to the Cherokee Warriors 67-63. While losing is never fun, North Cobb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 297th, while Cherokee is ranked 66th).

North Cobb has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Cherokee, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.

North Cobb will head out on the road to challenge North Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Cobb is facing North Paulding at the right time seeing as North Paulding is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Cherokee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
