Valley View kept a clean sheet against Hidalgo on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hidalgo Pirates. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Yosmeri Rodriguez and Ariadna Rodriguez scored both of Valley View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Valley View now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Hidalgo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Zapata the next time they take the pitch. Hidalgo will head out to face Zapata at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Valley View will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
