Mars Hill Bible entered their tilt with Florence on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2021.

Olivia Stegall made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Molly Wright, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Mars Hill Bible's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 10-17.

Mars Hill Bible wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Waterloo on the 12th. Florence has also already played their next matchup (against Bob Jones), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
