Baseball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Hillsboro Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 on Tuesday.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Hillsboro, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Centennial is set to take on their familiar foe Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hillsboro will challenge rival Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
