Basketball Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Enterprise and East Marion squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Enterprise had to settle for second. They lost to the East Marion Eagles on the road by a 72-58 margin. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 54-52.

Enterprise's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for East Marion, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-9.

Coming up, Enterprise will challenge Shaw at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise is on a six-game streak of home wins, Shaw a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. East Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
