Softball Recap: Ben Holt College Prep Academy Comes Up Short

If Ben Holt College Prep Academy was riding high fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Venture Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats fell 5-0 to the Millennium Falcons on Wednesday. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in May of 2018.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriella Rojas, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-6. As for Millennium, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy has already played their next matchup, a 19-1 win against River Islands on the 11th. As for Millennium, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Venture Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 2.3, the Mustangs 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
