Basketball Recap: Lovett Triumphs

Lovett won against Wesleyan last Wednesday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Lovett snuck past Central with a 56-52 victory. This was payback for Lovett, who suffered a 58-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Riley Gallagher had a dynamite game, putting up 27 points and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Eford, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Lovett now has a winning record of 2-1.

Lovett has already played their next matchup, a 101-18 defeat against Hebron Christian on the 20th. As for Central, they will challenge Summit at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
