Baseball Recap: West Branch Takes a Loss

West Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Camanche Indians. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

West Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Camanche, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Branch will head out to take on Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Bears their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Camanche, they will square off against Anamosa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
