Holy Cross put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat the John Curtis Christian Patriots by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-1. Considering the Tigers have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Holy Cross got a great performance from Matthew Watson as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. That's the fewest earned runs Watson has allowed since back in February.

On the hitting side, Holy Cross let Dom Pellegrin and Greg Ruiz run wild. Pellegrin scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Ruiz went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Pellegrin is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Sercovich, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Holy Cross lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Holy Cross pushed their record up to 18-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.
