King's Academy came tearing into Saturday's game with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Miami Stingarees. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

King's Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-30, 15-9.

King's Academy pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.

King's Academy and Miami will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time King's Academy sees the court they'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on April 4. As for Miami, their break will end when they face Braddock at 3:30 p.m. on April 2.
