Dade Christian had won five straight games and Nikola Mirkovic did his part to make it six on Friday. The Warriors took down the Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs 73-55 with plenty of help from Mirkovic, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Gabriel Alonso was another key player, putting up 13 points. Alonso is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carlos Duarte, who posted 15 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Angel Marquez, who put up 15 points and seven boards.

Dade Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Archbishop Carroll, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dade Christian will host Carol City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will be up against the Chiefs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Archbishop Carroll, they will be playing at home against ABF Academy Homestead at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
