Baseball Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron lost against Oak Glen two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons fell 11-6 to the Golden Bears.

Kason Angel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Cameron is 3-1 when Angel posts two or more runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Zayde Long was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Oak Glen, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Cameron will square off against Madonna at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Glen, they will face off against Beaver Local at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Bears are facing the Beavers at the right time seeing as the Beavers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
