Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Haskell walked away with it. They were the clear victors by  a  28-1 margin over the West Texas Comanches on Friday. The Indians' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Paige Sheets made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. As for West Texas,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 17-8-1.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Haskell beat the Comanches by a score of  28-1 later that day.
