Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Madera South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Sunnyside on Tuesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Stallions yet this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-20, 25-15.

Bakersfield Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Madera South, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
