Softball Game Preview: Potomac Falls Panthers vs. Riverside Ram + Official Tickets

For the second straight game, Potomac Falls will face off against Riverside. The Panthers will welcome the Ram at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Potomac Falls took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Riverside, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Ram 4-3.

For Riverside's part, Brooklyn Oliviero spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Jaiden McCallum was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Alex McLellan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Riverside is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7. As for Potomac Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.
