Baseball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Lake Roosevelt Raiders, falling 26-14. Even if the Kodiaks couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lake Roosevelt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade will face off against Omak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Kodiaks are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Lake Roosevelt, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Bridgeport at 9:00 a.m.
