Recap: Seminole Warhawks vs. Indian Rocks Christian Eagles

The Seminole Warhawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-44 win over Indian Rocks Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Seminole also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.

Laney Pearson was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Molly Follett, who scored 12 points.

Kayleigh Atkinson and Malia Stevens certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Atkinson scored 12 points, while Stevens scored 15 points.

Seminole's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will take on Tarpon Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Tarpon Springs comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they will be playing at home against Keswick Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keswick Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.
