Volleyball Game Preview: Lemon Bay Manta Rays vs. Braden River Pirates

Lemon Bay hasn't had much luck against Braden River recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Manta Rays will venture away from home to square off against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. The last three games Lemon Bay has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lemon Bay took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Barron Collier, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Manta Rays had just enough and edged out the Cougars 2-1.

Meanwhile, Braden River earned a 2-0 win over Winter Springs on Saturday.

Braden River has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Lemon Bay, their record now sits at 15-8.

Lemon Bay came up short against Braden River in their previous meeting back in August of 2023, falling 3-1. Can the Manta Rays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
