Basketball Recap: Mercy Culture Prep Finds Home Court Redemption Against Temple Christian

There's no place like home for Mercy Culture Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They snuck past the Temple Christian Eagles with a 46-40 victory on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Royals: when they faced off against the Eagles last Monday, they had to take a 43-41 defeat.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was A Richie, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of L Walls, who had 11 points.

Mercy Culture Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Temple Christian, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Mercy Culture Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nazarene Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Temple Christian has already played their next contest, a 48-31 win against Coram Deo Academy on the 13th.
