Lewiston suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. Their rough 58-35 defeat to Coeur d'Alene might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Lewiston has suffered against Coeur d'Alene since February 5, 2021.
Meanwhile, Lake City waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 83-47 victory over Post Falls. Lake City's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Lewiston has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Lake City, their win bumped their record up to 17-1.
Lewiston ended up a good deal behind Lake City in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, losing 51-33. Can Lewiston avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
