Volleyball Recap: Research Triangle Find Success + How To Watch

The Research Triangle Raptors beat the Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans 3-1 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raptors.

Research Triangle walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-13, 25-22.

Mckenzie Furlow paced Research Triangle's offense, picking up 18 kills. Furlow got some help from Jacee Oneal and her 30 assists. Jenny Wang controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Research Triangle's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Research Triangle will host Neuse Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Research Triangle Academy on the 29th.
