Baseball Recap: Heights Has No Trouble Against West

Heights barely beat West the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Pioneers on Wednesday. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Brady Boomsma, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Heights is undefeated when Boomsma posts three or more hits, but 9-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Van Lanen, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Heights' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.7 runs. As for West, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.
