Baseball Game Preview: Beverly Hills Normans vs. Pioneer Titans

The Beverly Hills Normans will square off against the Pioneer Titans at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Beverly Hills is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) a 7-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Normans as they're now sitting on six straight.

Meanwhile, Pioneer had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 14-8 victory.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Beverly Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11-1.

Beverly Hills beat Pioneer 4-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2020. Will the Normans repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
