Basketball Recap: Window Rock Comes Up Short

Window Rock lost against Alchesay back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Scouts took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

When it comes to explaining why Window Rock lost, don't look at Jaylen Brown. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points and five steals. Craig Yazzie was another key player, putting up five points.

Micah Yazzie had a dynamite game For Alchesay., going 9-for-17 en route to 22 points. Those 22 points gave Yazzie a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Antonio, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 11 points.

Window Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alchesay, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Window Rock has already played their next matchup, a 66-34 victory against Many Farms on the 29th. As for Alchesay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-70 win against San Carlos on the 29th.
