Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Southeastern couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 26-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pisgah Eagles on Friday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Pisgah, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Southeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pisgah, they will challenge Coosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Conquerors' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
