Basketball Game Preview: Sumner Academy Sabres vs. Schlagle Stallions

The Sumner Academy Sabres will take on the Schlagle Stallions on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Sumner Academy came up short against Highland Park and fell 54-42. The Sabres have struggled against the Scots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Schlagle got the win against Harmon on Tuesday by a conclusive 47-21.

Schlagle's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sumner Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Sumner Academy against Schlagle when the teams last played back in February of 2023, as the team secured a 49-18 win. Does Sumner Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Schlagle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
