Baseball Recap: Cashton Has No Trouble Against Necedah

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hillsboro, Cashton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Necedah Cardinals 15-3. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won six in a row.

Cashton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Necedah, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Cashton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 loss against Wauzeka-Steuben on the 9th. Necedah has also already played their next contest (against Bangor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
