Softball Recap: Baker County Takes a Loss

Baker County fell victim to Bartram Trail and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Baker County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nasia Green, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Baker County and nudges their season record down to 13-4. As for Bartram Trail, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.

Baker County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 victory against Middleburg on the 11th. As for Bartram Trail, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-1 loss against Episcopal School of Jacksonville on the 14th.
