There's no place like home for Sotomayor, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Stevens Falcons on Friday. The WILDCATS haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Penelope Flores was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season.
