Tompkins waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 10-9 W against the Morton Ranch Mavericks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 on Friday.

Tompkins' victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Morton Ranch, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
