Volleyball Recap: Kell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kell suffered their biggest loss since September 4th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Harrison Hoyas. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hoyas apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Kell was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.

Kaylan Malcolm paced Kell's offense, picking up seven kills. Malcolm got some help from Gracie Barrett and her eight assists. Haylee Boyle controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Kell's loss dropped their record down to 21-18. As for Harrison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-9 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Kell and Westminster will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
